Most schooling shows do not require formal show attire. Students should, however, wear tan britches, paddock boots and a black helmet or helmet cover.

Hair must be neatly tucked in a hair net or for girls under the age of 8, braided pig tails with ribbons are acceptable. Staff will help with a tidy and show-appropriate appearance.

We require at least 3 riders in order to travel to a show.

Parents may not request show particular mounts. Rather, assignments will be made based upon safety and capability of horse and rider. Some of our ponies are very quiet in familier settings but become very hot and unsuitable with all the stimulations a show ground presents. We of course want to have a successful show so we will match riders to mounts that wll give everyone the best chance to be "in the ribbons". We will not tolerate unsportsmanlike conduct and all parents and competitors are expected to encourage and support each team member.

$200 must be paid in advance and will cover use of SC mount, tack, mane and tail pulling and braiding - if appropriate, fuel charge and trailering to and from show, liability coverage, schooling before classes and ring side coaching during class. Students will also need to bring a blank check made out to show venue for class entry fees.
